This series of work began in 2020, during the pandemic, when movement was restricted to a 500-meter radius from home. All materials were sourced within that limited distance, in what was then a rural, undeveloped part of my hometown. In 2022, a development project began, and the open fields, tree groves, and abandoned agricultural land were replaced by two new neighborhoods. These paintings now serve as a form of conservation—an ode to the trees and landscapes that have since disappeared.
